The Henk Bredewolt WWII Collection

My name is Henk Bredewolt, and I'm resident of Roosendaal, near the Belgium Border which was liberated through the Canadian 12th Manitoba Dragoons, British 49th. West Riding Inf. Div., and the British 9th. Royal Tank Regt. on Oct. 30th. 1944.

I have my own WWII collection that specializes in showcasing the divisions / regiments that liberated Roosendaal. 80% of my large collection I have gotten from members who liberated my hometown, Roosendaal. 

This collection consists of  medals, uniforms, service-paybooks, battle dresses, and more than 3.000 war photographs.

Also I have acquired some very good personal things from members who served with the 12th. Manitoba Dragoons: Captain Norman Keith, Corporal Mr. Jack Wilkinson, Mr. Allen, Mr. Archie Butt, and I am in contact with more than 250 vets all over the world.  I'm very proud about this.

I am currently going through my archives looking for more photos of the 12th Manitoba Dragoons which I'll share on a future Webpage.

Below a link to some movies made on 4 and 5th of April 1945 in the city of Almelo.
There are 4 movies, 1 modern and 3 original wartime movies.
These were discovered not too long ago and now have been digitized.
 
The last movie made by Ab Abeln shows elements from A-squadron passing by.
The first Staghound is H1, the Lieutenant’s car from Heavy Troop, followed by H2, the Sergeants Car.
Then F215078, 5th Troop Sergeant’s Car and some Ford Lynx Scoutcars.

The next stop for them is in Vriezenveen, the place were a lot of photos have been made from 5th Troop and some from Heavy Troop.
