Job Description for Museum Exhibit Researcher and Designer Task:
The 26 Field Regiment RCA – XII Manitoba Dragoons Museum is seeking a candidate to research, develop, and produce a WW1 exhibit to commemorate the South Western Manitoba units and personnel contribution to the Great War.  The candidate will create an exhibit utilizing the Museum’s  Exhibit Design - Proposal model. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Curator and staff of the Museum.

Terms of employment:
The term will be 8 weeks in length at $15.00 per hour and 20 hours per week (Tuesdays to
Fridays) during the months of July and August 2015. 
The Curator and Museum staff will provide basic Museum training and support for the chosen candidate. 

Criteria for employment:
*An interest in Military History.  Priority will be given to those studying/in the fields of History or Anthropology.
*Must have strong communication skills and good writing skills in English.
*Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Word and University/College level research skills.
* Your Application package must include:

         a.  Why do you want to develop a WW1 interactive exhibit for the Museum?
         b.  What skills would you bring to this task in order to construct an exhibit?

26 Field Regiment RCA – XII MB Dragoons Museum is a Military Museum whose focus is on militia/reservist soldiers and personnel from South Western Manitoba during the years of 1885 to the present. 

50th Anniversary of the Canada Flag. 
The 26 Fd Regt RCA - XII MB Dragoons Museum
is opening a very small exhibit on 
the 50th Anniversary of the Canada Flag. 
The exhibit also includes a 
Win a Canada Flag contest 
as well as a Comment Board 
"What does the Canada Flag mean to you."
The Museum is open each Tuesday.
